New Incentive for Rooftop Solar Power: Producers to Get BDT 10.50 Per Unit
The government has announced a special incentive for supplying surplus electricity generated from rooftop solar systems to the national grid. Those who install battery-backed solar power systems and supply electricity to the grid by February 28, 2027, will receive BDT 10.50 per unit. This benefit will remain effective until February 28, 2030.
